More than 200 national organizations and institutions came together to support the Rally for Medical Research on April 8, 2013 in Washington, DC on the steps of Carnegie Library. This unified call to action extended across all areas of our society, including health care organizations, scientific societies, academic institutions, patient advocacy groups, and private industry.

 

The event itself was attended by more than 8,000 advocates and generated significant national media coverage and dicussion through social media channels.
